Typical compression results depend on the composition of your document. PDFs containing high-resolution photographs, scanned pages, or embedded graphics can see reductions of 60 to 90 percent at the highest compression setting. Text-heavy documents with few images will experience smaller but still meaningful reductions in the range of 10 to 30 percent, as the tool optimizes font subsets, metadata, and internal data structures.
